A Long March 8 Y6 carrier rocket successfully launched the fifth batch of Qianfan satellites into orbit at 12:38 am on March 12 from the Hainan Commercial Space Launch Site. This marks the first mission conducted after the commissioning of No. 1 launchpad at the Hainan Commercial Space Launch Site, signifying that China's first commercial space launch site is now capable of dual-station launches.
To ensure a stable power supply for the launch, CSG implemented an emergency duty system combining on-site personnel, online monitoring, and mobile grid inspections. Additionally, digital systems such as lightning positioning and intelligent fault monitoring enabled round-the-clock remote supervision of 35 kV and above power lines in the Haikou and Wenchang areas, ensuring a reliable power supply for the mission.
