He noted that CSG is committed to building the Kimal-Lo Aguirre (KILO) high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission project to the highest standards, while actively sharing technical expertise. He expressed his hope for continued, practical collaboration with Chilean energy companies to further energize China-Chile energy cooperation.
Pardow affirmed Chile's commitment to accelerating the construction of the KILO HVDC transmission project. He highlighted the Chilean government's strong push in recent years toward energy transition, conservation, and carbon reduction. Emphasizing the country's focus on developing local renewable resources such as solar and wind power, he expressed interest in deepening collaboration with CSG in areas including digital grids, energy storage, DC transmission, and smart operation and maintenance. Both sides aim to optimize energy resource allocation and jointly advance the green and low-carbon energy transition.
